Gentrace is evaluation for generative AI in test and production. We help companies (primarily late-private to early-public technology companies) build better generative AI features and products without regression.

We are currently a team of five (Doug , Vivek , Daniel , Steven , Josh ). We work both hybrid in-person in San Francisco + NYC and remotely.

Roles

Senior software engineer

We're looking for experienced software engineers.

Requirements

• Ideal candidates have 4+ years experience working in a full stack capacity.
• We use TypeScript and React heavily to build Gentrace. Although not required, we prefer candidates with strong experience with modern web technologies.

We are open-minded to extraordinary candidates who do not meet this criteria.

Expectations

• Develop new generative AI tooling for our customers
• Interact regularly with customers in our shared Slack channels, fixing issues and making improvements directly in response to customer requests
• Play an active role in determining our roadmap and strategy for new and existing features

Community Manager

We're looking for our first community manager to broaden awareness of Gentrace and establish ourselves in the epicenter of SF.

Requirements

• No particular required years of experience; 2+ years ideal
• Experience coordinating events ideal, but not required
• Experience working closely with sales/GTM to drive demand gen and leads is ideal, but not required
• Experience managing communities on Slack, group chats, whatsapp ideal, but not required

Expectations

• Host regular dinners for customers, prospects and friends of Gentrace. Partner closely with sales/GTM to set them up for success in selling our product at these dinners
• Run quarterly events, hosted at our office, also for customers, prospects and Gentrace supporters
• Support company operations like managing our office, meals, mailbox and more
• Organize company team onsites and other cultural / bonding events

Recruiter (and people)

We're looking for our first in-house recruiter who will also assist with people responsibilities.

Requirements

• ~100+ placed candidates
• Prior experience as first or second in-house recruiter at a startup
• Strong reference from the company founders / leadership
